This morning is second round - we headed down to Penang General Hospital as apparently dad needs to go for cleaning and checking by the doctor. And guess what? It's in a different building from yesterday. So it means for the second day running I ate at the same Mamak Shop. Hehehe! Yesterday was roti sardin and today is chicken murtabak. Report? Both are average at best
Today was fast for dad. They were done in less than 30 minutes
Other than the above, generally, everything was quiet. I spent the day putting the magazines back in place, reading a lot and packing up for flight
Taxi drivers are taxi drivers. The one I booked from Penang is a Chinese old man who spent the first half of the journey busy trying to scratch his right hand near the wrist. Then the one from LCCT was a bearded old man who was intent on driving as fast as he could. Maybe he is late for something? He took the speedbumps etc with no slowing down. Or perhaps poor eyesight because when we reached Sg Pelek town, he asked me to read and give him directions to the resort! And his fuel tank light was already blinking! Weird, I tell you!
Plane? The only thing worth sharing is after we all boarded, they announced that there would be a delay as there is a problem with baggage conveyor belt so the luggage has not been loaded yet onto the plane. Brilliant, eh?
QT - not really but there is a geeky Chinese looking chap in Air Asia black uniform coming up with 2-way radio when we had the jam. Thin, geeky and short. Then there is a tall Malay chap as air steward but he covered the second half of the plane once we took off. So I got only a few fleeting glimpses of him. Not a nice face but tall and big bone structure to make you think he is in shape from the back. However, side profile made him looked thin as a board! Hehehe!
