So without further ado, here I am, trying to impress and attract a legion of loyal subscribers to my online ranting and raving ... then again, that is not the intention of having a blog, right? Or is it? Hmmm ... anyway,YES, you have my commitment that ONCE A WEEK, I will update you with my most keen and insightful observations of life around me ... and I do live in an interesting world, I kid you not ... and all these will be couched in the wit that is my words ... heheheheheheheheehheheh!
Ok
I make 2 to 3 return air-trips a month since Aug 2008. One is inevitably KL/ Langkawi via MAS, the other is Firefly's Langkawi/ Penang and the third is depending on where I feel like spending my down time ... before this it is Sri Lankan, Qatar and Emirates airlines ... along with the occassional Gulf ... over the past 4 years
So the following incidents and all subsequent ppostings in this chain will highlight the more memorable occassions of these flights ... and in no particular order ...
MAS - Singapore/ KL - a very short flight - it was the first flight out to KL and to my surprise it was rather full - as I boarded, I took a copy of the papers offered and settled down to my seat along with my book (HP Lovecraft's The Whisperer in Darkness) ... as the flight took off, the chap in front reclined jamming my legs to the chair ... no this is not the odd bit as this is the norm ... the odd bit is that next to me is an Indian couple on honeymoon. They were all lovey-dovey ... until hubby decided to look for things to read ... he checked out the pockets on his and hers ... nothing ... then spying the paper and book in mine ... he started tugging away (my leg had jammed the pocket) ... without asking my permission ... I was stunned! I turned to him and asked if I can help him and he said he wanted things to read ... so I pulled it out for him ... he took it without a smile or acknowledging nod or word of thanks ... and after reading it, he put it in his own seat pocket without returning to me!!!
What a complete A$$hOlE
Incident 2 - coming!
